Elizabeth Prodromou
Dr. Elizabeth H. Prodromou is Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Boston University, where she is also a Research Associate of the Institute on Culture, Religion and World Affairs. She is also a member of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. She has published widely on religion, democracy, and security in the Eastern Mediterranean, and has extensive expertise on Eastern Orthodoxy.
Dr. Prodromou has two forthcoming books dealing with religion and politics in Europe: a monograph on Church State Relations in Greece: Pluralism, Democracy and European Integration; and a co-edited volume on The Church of Greece in the 21st Century: Religion, State and Society in an Era of Transition. She is the co-editor of a collection of essays published in 2008 on modernity and religion, Thinking through Faith: Perspectives from Orthodox Christian Scholars.
