First Freedoms: An Interview with Tom Farr

Tom Farr recently departed the Department of State, having served since 1999 as the Department's first Director of the Office of International Religious Freedom. He served in the Foreign Service for 21 years, and holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of North Carolina. He has taught at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point and the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs. He is currently writing a book on religious freedom and U.S. foreign policy.
