Religion as a Factor in Sino-U.S. Relations

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, and based on common interests, China and the United States have successfully cooperated with each other in several key areas. However, there are still issues that are the source of serious differences and conflicts. No one would characterize Sino-U.S. relations as simply "good" or "bad," because the relations between the world's only superpower and an emerging power are significantly more complicated than that.
