What is an informed biblical position on immigration? This is the question both James K. Hoffmeier and M. Daniel Carroll R. seek to address in their recent books on immigration and the Bible. The authors, both Old Testament scholars, believe that while the Bible may often be cited in the immigration discussion, it is rarely understood. But despite looking at the same passages and themes, the two arrive at strikingly different conclusions.
