Brent Nelsen
Dr. Brent F. Nelsen is professor of political science and chair at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated with a B.A. from Wheaton College (Ill.) in 1981 and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. His scholarly books and articles focus primarily on the politics of European integration. Currently he is working on the role of religion in shaping attitudes toward the European Union.
