Dorothy Boorse

Dr. Dorothy Boorse is an associate professor of biology and the AuSable Institute of Environmental Studies representative at Gordon College in Wenham, MA. Her primary research and teaching interests are in aquatic community ecology and invasive species. As a representative of the Noah Alliance, she testified before Congress in 2005 on behalf of a Christian environmental ethic. She was a fellow at the Gordon College Center for Christian Studies from 2005-2006 and received the Distinguished Junior Faculty Award at Gordon College in 2002. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and joined the Gordon College faculty in January of 1999.
