Nick Megoran

Dr. Nick Megoran is a political geographer and a lecturer in human geography at Newcastle University, UK, in the school of Geography, Politics and Sociology. Prior to joining the University in December 2005, he taught in Cambridge, Osh, and Ferghana, and studied in Durham, Roskilde, Cambridge and Osh. His research focuses on the political geographies and geopolitics of post-Cold War inter-state relations, specifically the border relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. He also studies the role of religion and the church in war and peace.
