Nicole Bibbins Sedaca

Nicole Bibbins Sedaca has held numerous positions, including Senior Director for Strategic Planning and External Affairs in the Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor, Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs, and Special Assistant to the Coordinator for Counterterrorism. She has served in various other positions in the Department of State and on detail to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. She is currently living with her husband and two sons in Quito, Ecuador, and teaching at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. She serves as Acting Chair of the Institute for Global Engagement's Board of Directors. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
