Richard Land
Richard Land is President of the Southern Baptist Convention's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission. His most recent book is The Divided States of America?: What Liberals and Conservatives are Missing in the God-and-Country Shouting Match! (Thomas Nelson, rev. ed., 2011). He is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and is currently serving his fourth term with the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom. He earned his bachelor's degree from Princeton University, his Master's of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctorate of Philosophy from Oxford University.
