Drew Kumpf

Drew Kumpf is the Program Assistant for the Insitute for Global Engagement's East Asia Program. His work focuses on religious freedom in East Asia. He is a graduate of Princeton University and originally from Ithaca, NY. His time abroad includes an architectural internship in Vienna, Austria and a year teaching English in Dalian, China with Princeton in Asia. In spring 2008, he was an editorial researcher with Foreign Policy magazine at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and a regular contributor to the publication's Passport blog. He co-authored a book while in China about English vocabulary and American daily life and speaks German and Mandarin.
