David Buckley

David Buckley is a Doctoral Candidate in Georgetown University's Government Department and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University. Before joining the Berkley Center in 2007, he spent two years working on religion and American public policy at Faith in Public Life and the Center for American Progress. He has worked on the Berkley Center's Islam and the West Dialogue Report and on the New Wars of Religion database. His current studies focus on religion, political mobilization, and violence. He holds an M.A. in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queen's University Belfast and a B.A. in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia.
