James Guth
Dr. James L. Guth is William R. Kenan, Jr. Professor of Political Science and a Senior Fellow in Religion and Politics at the Richard W. Riley Institute of Government, Politics, and Public Leadership at Furman University. His most recent book is The Oxford Handbook of Religion and American Politics, co-edited with Corwin A. Smidt and Lyman A. Kellstedt (Oxford, 2009). Other publications include The Bully Pulpit: The Politics of Protestant Clergy (University of Kansas Press, 1997) and Religion and the Culture Wars: Dispatches from the Front (Rowman & Littlefield, 1996).
