Abigail Skeans
Abigail is the Coordinator for Strategy and Development at the Institute for Global Engagement. Prior to joinging IGE, Abigail served at the U.S. Department of State in the Office of International Religious Freedom providing policy analysis to both the Western Hemisphere and Africa portfolios. Her expertise lies in the analysis of religion's interdependent role in post-conflict resolution methods in sub-Saharan Africa. She graduated from Calvin College in December, 2008, with a B.A. in international relations and a minor concentration in art history, where she founded the Genocide Awareness Initiative and led programs for international student in the arts.
