Mark Hill
Mark Hill QC is an Honorary Professor at the Centre for Law and Religion at Cardiff University, Wales, UK, and Chancellor of the Anglican Dioceses of Chichester (UK) and Gibraltar in Europe. He is a recognized expert in English Canon Law, religious liberty, and human rights, and has been instructed in the European Court of Human Rights, the House of Lords, and the Court of Appeal as well as in the High Court and County Court. Hill sits as a recorder in the Crown Court and has considerable experience as counsel and judge in the ecclesiastical courts of the Church of England. He has been the editor of the Ecclesiastical Law Journal since 2002, and is also the author of several books including Ecclesiastical Law, the leading textbook on the subject.
