Michael Gerson
Michael Gerson is a columnist for the Washington Post and fellow at ONE, an organization dedicated to fighting extreme poverty and preventable disease. Prior to joining ONE, he served as a fellow at the Institute for Global Engagement (2009-2010). From 2000-2006 he served as a policy adviser and chief speechwriter to President George W. Bush. Before that, he was a senior editor covering politics at U.S. News & World Report. He is the author of Heroic Conservatism (HarperOne, 2007).
