Simon Polinder

Simon Polinder studied History (B.A.) and International Relations in Historical Perspective (M.A.) at the University of Utrecht and Christian Studies and Sciences (M.A.) at the VU University of Amsterdam. After graduation he conducted research on family issues for Prisma, an association of non-profit development organizations. In 2006 he became a lecturer at the Department of International Relations and International Organization at the University of Groningen. In 2008 he started as a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Groningen. His research includes a critical evaluation of the role of religion in theories of international relations.
